Canada Post presents the winners for the 2010 Canada Post Community Literacy Awards.
Winners were chosen by Canada Post judging committee in two categories: Individual Achievement and Educator categories and come from across Canada. Literacy advocates from organizations across Canada have determined the winners.
About Canada Post and literacy
Canada Post has been a literacy advocate for almost two decades, from the Santa Letter-writing Program, to hundreds of community literacy groups. Established in 1993, the Canada Post Community Literacy Awards aim to discover and acknowledge the achievements of Canadians who have made a special effort or an important contribution to literacy.
