Attention Cancer Patients And Care Givers
If you have had cancer or have cared for someone with cancer in the last five years, we want your input.
The Canadian Cancer Advocacy Network is conducting an on-line survey of Home Care needs for cancer patients and caregivers
The Canadian Cancer Advocacy Network (CCAN) provides a voice for cancer patients and their families in urging governments to come together to establish guidelines and policies that will effectively respond to the needs of the people with cancer.
Home Care is a major issue for all Canadians and especially for cancer patients and their families. In the last Federal Budget the
Government of Canada announced that it would provide additional funding for Home Care and that it would discuss this issue with the provinces and territories to develop a common approach on Home Care by September of this year.
The information that you provide to CCAN through this survey will be used to show the Governments what you, cancer patients and caregivers, need from a Home Care program. We hope that by adding your experiences and evidence to the knowledge that we have already gathered that we will convince the Governments to develop Home Care programs that meet your needs. Today and into the future.
